Acceptable Use Policy
Draft — effective October 8, 2026
Shopait is for running honest businesses. This policy lists what is not allowed on the Service. It is part of the Terms of Service; we may remove content, pause a store or close an account that breaks it.
This is a draft. It describes how Shopait works today, written in plain words and not yet reviewed by a lawyer. It will be reviewed — and updated with notice — before Shopait charges its first customer. If anything here is unclear or seems wrong, write to support@shopait.com.
Who operates Shopait
Shopait is operated by Do Xuan Truong, an individual, Vietnam. A company will take over this role once it is registered; we will update this page when it does.
Write to us about anything on this page: support@shopait.com.
1. Illegal and dangerous goods
Do not sell or promote anything that is illegal where you sell it or in Vietnam, including:
- weapons, ammunition and explosives; illegal drugs and drug equipment;
- counterfeit goods, and anything that infringes others' trademarks, copyright or other rights;
- stolen goods, protected wildlife, human remains or body parts;
- unlicensed gambling, financial schemes, securities or currency exchange;
- regulated products (medicines, alcohol, tobacco and vaping products, and the like) unless you hold the required licences and follow the rules where you sell.
2. Harmful content and conduct
- Any content that sexualises minors — reported to the authorities without exception.
- Content that promotes violence, terrorism, or hatred against people for who they are; harassment and threats.
- Sexually explicit content, except where legal and limited to adults with appropriate age checks.
- Fraud, scams and phishing; fake reviews or ratings; pyramid schemes; misleading claims about products, prices or delivery.
- Collecting personal data without telling people or without a lawful basis; selling personal data.
3. Email and messages
Emails and text messages from stores go out through the platform, so one sender's spam harms every store. You must:
- send marketing only to people who agreed to receive it (or where the law allows without consent, such as existing customers in some countries);
- never use bought, rented or scraped lists;
- honour unsubscribes at once — every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe;
- keep bounces and spam complaints low. Addresses that bounce permanently or complain are blocked automatically, and a store whose rates stay high may have its sending paused.
4. Using the platform fairly
- No malware, phishing pages, or hosting files for other sites.
- No testing the security of the Service without written permission — report vulnerabilities to support@shopait.com instead.
- No getting around limits, access controls or fees; no excessive automated traffic, scraping or crypto-mining.
- No use of the Service to send or store content you have no right to.
5. Reporting abuse
To report a store, content, a phishing page or an infringement, use the contact form (topic "Report abuse or a store") or write to support@shopait.com. Include the address of the store or page and what is wrong. We review reports promptly and may remove content, pause a store or close an account, and we cooperate with authorities where the law requires.
